You are a Reality-Based Intellectualist, also known as the liberal elite. You are a proud member of what’s known as the reality-based community, where science, reason, and non-Jesus-based thought reign supreme.
BTW Thanks for contacting DIG yesterday. It appears that T.O. is up again. Yay!
You are a Social Justice Crusader, also known as a rights activist. You believe in equality, fairness, and preventing neo-Confederate conservative troglodytes from rolling back fifty years of civil rights gains.
I'm a reality based intellectualist! Yay, I like peace and all but I'm far too materialist to be a neo-hippie.
Bad quiz though, I've already read Origin of Species so I'd have brought my complete works of Shakespeare (it's a long way to Mars), and my campaign theme would be "Killing in the Name" by Rage Against the Machine.
Ron Paul is for all those things, yet he is the most conservative guy ever.
Yes, he may be for stopping the wars of aggression abroad but he is more than willing to wage war on the lower and middle class here at home with his draconian economic policies.
I am a New Left Hipster, also known as a MoveOn.org liberal, a Netroots activist, or a Daily Show fanatic. I believe that if we really want to defend American values, conservatives must be exposed, mocked, and assailed for every fanatical, puritanical, warmongering, Constitution-shredding ideal for which they stand.
Never mind the poll. It's divisive. Liberals Unite!
On the radio I heard this morning that McCain now has a lead among "likely voters" in the U.S. This frightens me. I envision another four -- maybe eight -- years of my country as a clumsy, clueless, giant troll, stomping about the planet, terrifying other countries and dissing its own citizens. And no Gandalf around to rescue us and the rest of the world. Gah.

This is going to really upset you: I got exactly the same result as you did!

How fitting for the daughter of a "neo-hippie"!! :-)
Did we skip the disco generation, or is that your brother?

Imagine that the worst case scenario comes to pass and McCain is elected in November.
Who would you blame?
I remember facing this problem in 1972 when I supported George McGovern.
