I would have to ask what they meant by "advanced". Depending on the answer, I might glower and say "Not sure", just to be a dick. (Obviously, I'm a United Statesman.)
I had no idea that it was as high as 47% in the US; my gut feelings put it at around 30%.
Question: Can we assume this 47% are YECs? The question mentions 10,000 years but it's not quite the same as asking whether the Earth is only 10,000 years
Depending on the definition of "created," both statements could be held as true without inherent logical contradiction (see Catholics, soul, belief in). A silly poll, like most dealing with this issue.
Most surprising to me was London beating out every other part of GB for Creationist respondents (25%, while the other regions ranged from 16% to to 12%). I'd have the exact opposite.

Any information about Australian attitudes? I can't find any.
"Scotland 75%" That's great!
Makes me that much more proud to be Scottish. Highest in the UK!
We're Canadians. That means we believe in evolution but we're apologetic about it.

I'd have expected the exact opposite, rather.
Going off-topic, recent developments seem to vindicate our host's decision not to join ScienceBorg.
Well, this seems like another very good reason to do my posgraduate studies at the great white north :D
