The Campus in October

I snapped this picture on my way back from class. That's the science library on the left and the Medical Sciences Building on the far right. The tall buildings in the background are at the corner of College and Yonge in the heart of downtown Toronto.

I love being on a university campus.

  1. Agreed. I've always found campuses to be special places.

  2. It is a pretty special thing to have a campus right smack in the middle of a thriving metropolis. And, on top of that, there are great residential neighbourhoods right next to it as well. I live about 15 mins walk from where that picture was taken and that's been a boon to our daughter, who is now attending U of T.

  4. One has to admit though that the MSB building is an especially ugly example of brutalist architecture.

    1. Let's not forget the Robarts Library, our very own Ministry of Truth/Mordor.

Exemplifies the best in Soviet era architecture.
