This is Carnitine, it's important in fatty acid metabolism.
ReplyDeleteMolecule # 189 is carnitine, or 3-hydroxi-4-(trimethylammonio) butanoate. It is used by organisms to transport acyl groups of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria.
