America Is Headed Toward Socialism or Something Much Worse

I thought that people like Chuck Norris were big fans of the idea that America is the greatest country in the world. Apparently I was wrong.

This is an appeal to evangelicals to prevent the triumph of evil and 1,000 years of darkness.

  1. Apparently, the USA are on the brink of turning into...Canada? Germany? UK?
    What a horrendous vision!

  2. Maybe America needs to become a real empire with a real emperor. Hail to Chuck I the world's savior.

  3. The much worse would be evangelical Christian theocracy.

  4. Blame Ronald Reagan. He's the one who predicted a "thousand years of darkness" if Nelson Rockefeller lost the 1964 election. Since Rockefeller lost that particular election, that leaves only 952 years of darkness.

    1. Yes, and Reagan also predicted that Social Security would mean communism and the end of American freedom.

    2. Excuse me, that was Medicare that would mean communism and the end of American freedom.

  5. Calling Chuck Norris Chick Norris is probably the greatest insult anyone can throw at him. Well played.

  6. Doesn't Chuck believe that Jesus will be returning in his lifetime to "judge the quick and the dead" and should he not be doing everything in his power to hasten armageddon ... wait a moment, that's exactly what he is doing.

    1. Prof. Moran debunked this study in the latest thread. Here's the money quote:

You blew it Ed Yong. Why didn't you ask him about the 50% of our genome containing DEFECTIVE transposons and the 2% that's pseudogenes, just for starters? Then you could ask him why he believes that all intron sequences (about 20% of our genome) are functional

  8. It is sad that people take notice of an actor/actress. I enjoy action films but they are fiction. Why does anybody think that appearing on a screen give credence in a totally different discipline.

Next we'll have them commenting on medicine. (oops Jim Carrey is already there!)

    1. Chuck Norris films are fiction ?

      Say it isn't so.

Next you'll be saying that professional wrestling is rigged and that's just plain subversive.

  9. They said 'our country' about fifty times, and the lady gave the better performance. I think Norris is only 'acting' when he is punching someone.

    1. "Only in America"? Really?

You don't get out much, do you? What kind of thinking do they do in France, Japan, or Australia?
