The first Star Wars movie was released on this day in 1977. I was living in Geneva, Switzerland at the time and I didn't get to see the movie until July or August.
I was a mere slip of a lad, not quite 12 years old. I still remember clearly seeing it for the first time. The original film is still my favorite of the entire franchise.
