I'm afraid that atheists aren't going to get away with rigging this "burden of proof" issue to their advantage. Their positions and arguments contain speculations that are, by no means, obvious or more intuitively acceptable.
The burden of proof rests, equally, on anyone making any kind of an assertion.
I'm certainly not going to let atheists impose a double standard on me that they attempt to absolve themselves from.
