Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Bang Bang

We recently learned that Prager University was instrumental in converting GilDodgen from obnoxious atheist to obnoxious theist [How to Convince an Atheist to Become an IDiot]. GilDodgen liked to two "courses" in particular. One was a "course" on "The Most Important Verse in the Bible." All five minutes of the course were taught by Dennis Prager.

The other "course" is taught by Frank Pastore, a former atheist and a former baseball player. He's now the host of a Christian talk show in Los Angeles. Pastore is a high school graduate. (Pastore was "converted" by some other Cincinnati Reds baseball players.)

You need to watch this video. Here's how it's described in the Prager University calendar.
Who takes the greater leap of faith -- the atheist or the believer? Best selling author and award-winning radio talk show host, Frank Pastore, poses this question in this compelling Prager University video course.

WARNING: Parts of this video may be harmful to the rational mind. Viewer discretion is advised.

  1. Here I am doing university courses that consist of around 96 hours of lectures and 20 hours of labs each, plus exams and assignments, not including time spent studying, why wasn't I informed that I could do a course in under 6 minutes instead when I signed up?!?!?!?!?!

Honestly, how the hell are they allowed to call themselves a university?

    Thanks.

  3. Wow, Frank Pastore is a moron or a liar, possibly both.

  5. Hmm. I may be crazy, but I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and speculate that this university is not, um, accredited. Or a university.

  6. That warning was not strong enough.

  7. Wow, that video might have made sense if I didn't know anything about cosmology, biology, anthropology, or psychology.

  8. Ow! It burns! Thank goodness I've grown calluses...
That reminds me of the guy (I think it was Mister "you can't explain that!") who listed all the "kinds of evolution" (stellar, chemical etc...)

  9. It's quite obvious, that he knows nothing about cosmology, biology, etc.
But he said that he was chalenged by his teammates to read some religious books. I wonder if he actually read one.

PS.When he said that "animals don't do arts" i recalled a scene from the movie "I robot", where Sonny asks "can you?" ;)

  10. Wait, only four big bangs? I could do better than that. Quick, someone get me a position at a Christian University!

  11. e.racer, show us how you would qualify.
How would you explain the "4 big bangs"?
I bet we could all learn from your reasoning.

  12. What a load of nonsense! The idea that this tosh is coming from a 'university', someone who hasn't educated themselves in the basics of science might actually believe some of this!

  13. Sexy, how would you explain the 4 big bangs?
A scientific explanation would be great.

  14. I'll explain the 4 big bangs in a more scholarly manner*:

Steve McCroskey: Jacobs, I want to know absolutely everything that's
    happened up till now.

    Jacobs: Well, let's see. First
the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it.

    * CITATION: Abrams, Zucker, and Zucker (1980). Airplane! Paramount Pictures, Hollywood, CA.

  15. We're not going to learn much from e.racer. No surprise there.
But I love the movie "Airplane!" so I am delighted to be reminded of a quote from it.

  16. My explanation for the four big bangs is that there weren't four big bangs, rather, Frank Pastore just pulls shit out of his ass and acts like he struck oil.

  18. Oh crap,

The levels of stupidity attainable by the prayer university (I could not bear using capitals on those words), are dismaying. And these two videos are examples of what it takes to get atheists converted to IDiotism? Heck, my brain hurts. Maybe that's the trick, give enough of these to destroy the atheist brains, leaving them susceptible to accept the bullshit of creationism, and the dishonesty of trying to disguise it as science (as IDiots try and fail to do).
