That was unusually strong language from Dawkins. A bit over the top, IMHO. But since Dawkins gets accused of being agressive even when he's not, I guess there's little reason to hold back.
Very well said, however I would have liked it if he referred to the Catholic ideas of the carrot heaven and the stick of hell as hypothesis rather than theories. Where is the evidence supporting these 'theories'? :)
I am sorry that you do not understant religion, the need to thank all the good things you have. I bet those who wrote these have a nice pc and food in their table. Who gave you the strenght to gain the money you spent? who gave you life. can t you simply thank, and feel good a little bit? respect please if you can t feel it. Yeah the Pope has flaws, yes, it makes mistakes. But while Cristians misionaries move to help those in need you sit and talk. Catholics did better to this world than anyone. Some did bad. But most were silent and humble and did good. You talk about the bad only. Sorry for you
