Strolling with a skeptical biochemist
That's a devilishly pristine-looking desk! Maybe some day when we are smart/knowledgeable enough, with a good probability we will be able to infer genotype from the way desks are looking. :-) (My daughter's desk looks like a cross between mine and my wife's).
Nice ancient monitor
Is that a CRT monitor I see before me?
Is that a CRT monitor I see before me?Why is this such a big deal? I don't buy new computer equipment until the old stuff breaks or becomes incapable of handling new software. My old monitor (2001) works just fine. Should I mention that my desktop CPU at work was bought in 2003 or will that be too much of a shock?
Hey, no dissing CRT monitors, I'm not throwing out mine either. It works perfectly, and it's from 1999!Oh, and I happen to be 19.
I don't buy new computer equipment until the old stuff breaks or becomes incapable of handling new software. That's just so uncool. Still in flares are we? (first time round)
