Queen Victoria Day

 

Today is Victoria Day in Ontario. It's the day we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday (she was actually born on May 24, 1819). In 2007 it's just a good excuse for a holiday.

    Technically, we celebrate the Queen of Canada's birthday today as well, even though she was born on April 21st.

    The library at my university was closed today because of this... I am so upset. Canadians officially need better holidays, I propose Darwin Day.
