I forgot to mention that the 100,000th visit to Sandwalk happened a few days ago. I appreciate eveyone who has paid me a visit over the past five months. Please keep coming. I promise not to try anything as complicated as blood clotting for at least another year!
Larry, your posts on blood clotting were really quite informative and interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Congratulations! That is a really meteoric rise in traffic for such a new blog. Thus, it's gotta be the quality....
ReplyDeleteI pitch in on both the congrats and the clotting posts. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI try advertising your blog and other science blogs as much as I can. You comments usually discuss some very interesting issues.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably the only person that visits your site from Panama.
Have recently found your site & really appreciate your BioChem (and other) Posts, including recent clotting chemistry. Don't wait a year to reproduce reducing such complexity.
ReplyDeleteI like the blood clotting information!
ReplyDeletecheers from stl
Wow! I'm glad to see that someone other than me is actually reading the clotting articles. Thank-you for the encouragement.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first thought about doing them three weeks ago I realized that it would entail some of the most difficult work I had ever attempted. It's a very complicated pathway with lots of jargon.
I didn't know what I was getting into. For the next little while I'm going to stick to things that are more simple and closer to my comfort zone in terms of expertise.
This science writing thing is hard. Maybe I just need more practice in "framing"!? :-)
