I would have to ask what they meant by "advanced". Depending on the answer, I might glower and say "Not sure", just to be a dick. (Obviously, I'm a United Statesman.)
I had no idea that it was as high as 47% in the US; my gut feelings put it at around 30%.
Question: Can we assume this 47% are YECs? The question mentions 10,000 years but it's not quite the same as asking whether the Earth is only 10,000 years
Depending on the definition of "created," both statements could be held as true without inherent logical contradiction (see Catholics, soul, belief in). A silly poll, like most dealing with this issue.
Most surprising to me was London beating out every other part of GB for Creationist respondents (25%, while the other regions ranged from 16% to to 12%). I'd have the exact opposite.
Any information about Australian attitudes? I can't find any.
