Newton's actual tomb looks very much like Darwin's; a slab on the floor nearby.bababarbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12224624555382403759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37148773.post-81525823768184013682015-01-09T13:48:05.090-05:002015-01-09T13:48:05.090-05:00I am sorry Larry, but I must say Newton is bigger ...I am sorry Larry, but I must say Newton is bigger than Darwin. He described and decried genocide 80 years before the rest of the world caught up. He explained the natural reasons genocide is a stupid idea.

Darwin first described and provided evolutionary explanations for insectivorous plants.

Darwin explained the lowly barnacle, contributing to their control on ship bottoms.

Darwin's collections of biota were, and remain, the greatest collection by a single person in the history of the British Museum. Darwin was a great explorer, a stupendous contributor to world trade.

Darwin put his money to work to end slavery and fight racialism in Britain.

Besides describing gravity and inventing that cookie, what were Newton's accomplishments? He wrote a number of literal interpretations of the Bible and had a nasty case of mercury poisoning.... The former makes him a little bit weird, and the latter would have made him straight up crazy.... Both of these traits are common with people who get typically get involved in loony conspiracies....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37148773.post-29696715473099820672009-02-10T22:22:00.000-05:002009-02-10T22:22:00.000-05:00Newton had some nice wigs, but they lack the dedic...Newton had some nice wigs, but they lack the dedication of Darwin's beard.
