An additional problem is that so many other issues that trigger warfare are also present.

These issues along with stoning are of the type that are worth waging war to eliminate and/or to defend. (In this way, these issues resemble slavery)

No wonder no peace has been possible. This war has a long way to go before it is over.joe six-packhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09712147932436398237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37148773.post-79518719826742119092010-10-19T19:14:21.884-04:002010-10-19T19:14:21.884-04:00I don't quite understand the mentality of &quo...I don't quite understand the mentality of "we're OK with stonings, but please don't make a movie pointing out what we're OK with."Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09793741972385047253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37148773.post-62553895343235447602010-10-19T16:55:14.621-04:002010-10-19T16:55:14.621-04:00Best way to get it to go viral is to ban it.Best way to get it to go viral is to ban it.Tezcatlipocahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05654888080078039341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37148773.post-54502978886030995532010-10-19T13:40:33.480-04:002010-10-19T13:40:33.480-04:00Even the trailer is very very disturbing; almost w...Even the trailer is very very disturbing; almost wish I hadn't forced myself to watch it. But having seen it I wouldn't wish that kind of death on anyone - even the stoners. I feel angry and yet at the same time the full force of that parable about casting the first stone has come to me.Timothy V Reeveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03913020911593893925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37148773.post-80162148689118792942010-10-19T11:55:58.976-04:002010-10-19T11:55:58.976-04:00The film scene is quite reminiscent of a similar o...The film scene is quite reminiscent of a similar one from the movie "Zorba the Greek". There, a woman was killed by men from the village for adultery (one of the men was a guy who hoped to marry her). This was a film about Greece (or was it Crete?). Anyway, they were no doubt all Christians and Eastern Orthodox. The point here is that I doubt any European governments considered banning "Zorba".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
