Compact Fluorescent Bulbs

Steve Reuland at Sunbeams from Cucumbers writes On the Wonders of Compact Fluorescent Bulbs. He makes a compelling case. I'm going to switch 10 light bulbs tonight.

One other piece of advice that I should have mentioned: Get one bulb and test it out in all of your fixtures. The CF bulbs are bulkier than conventional incandescents, they have a large base (the ballast), and therefore might not fit into every fixture.
